Brighouse Town’s six match unbeaten run was put on hold last Saturday as Storm Claudia swept in on the Friday and left the pitch at the Heffernan Utilities Stadium under water.
It left club officials counting the cost with East Division League leaders Redcar Athletic the visitors and a special season ticket promotion for international break weekend also knocked on the head as a result of the postponement.
The game has been re-arranged for Wednesday, December 3 (7.45) and the season ticket promotion will stand in this game with local professional clubs not involved in their leagues on the night.
On Saturday, Town entertain Bridlington Town (3pm and parted company with their Management team shortly after the game) who surprisingly lost 2-1 at home last Saturday to Grimsby Borough. The Seasiders currently sit three places and two points above Town in ninth place.
Manager Grant Black only has the long term injury of striker Rhys Plater to contend with and the absence of midfielder Mohssen Mohamed who is still away until Sunday night with the Yemen squad at their camp in Cairo
