BRIGHOUSE ECHO SPORT – ALL THE LATEST NEWS FROM THE HEFFERNAN UTILITIES STADIUM BY DAVID PARKER

Brighouse Town are set to lose their former Wigan Athletic striker Youssef Chentouf to Silsden and Yemeni U23 wing-back Mohssen Mohamed to Stocksbridge Park Steels.
Chentouf,  21, who has also played with Slough Town, Hendon and Royston Town, came to Town in the early Autumn and set a good impression with four goals and some assists.
Mohamed has had limited chances this season but when he did get on from the bench impressed. He will be stepping up a division and be nearer his home in Sheffield.
In the wake of this news manager Grant Black has added Rotherham United striker Reece Wilson on loan.
Town’s fixture away to away to Blyth Town was wiped out last Saturday by frost and, in fact, the whole division in the East section of the NPL went the same way.
The major problem now with the division, increased in numbers from last season, is that there has been no free Saturday left to fit a full programme of fixtures in, so Town will have to travel to Northumbria on a midweek night in the next four weeks or so.
Black moved quickly when the word came through the game was off and fixed up a training pitch in Wakefield.
The players had a good work out ahead of this Saturday’s home game with high flying Matlock v Town (3pm).
The match is being sponsored by DC Precision Engineering Ltd Leeds, whose Managing Director, Craig Tramner has strong family links and friends in the Brighouse area. He is also a friend of John Rimmington, the former Liversedge manager who is now a member of the Matlock coaching staff.
Town’s physio for the past four seasons, Charlotte Biggs, is also now working with the Leeds United physiotherapy team. Currently studying at Leeds University for highers in physiotherapy, Charlotte is getting work experience with the Premier League club’s academy and U23 squads in midweek.
