Plans for 2022/23 gaining pace at Brighouse Town.
The Club are delighted to announce a further contract extension has been agreed and signed with
manager Vill Powell. Vill has committed to an additional 3 years with the Club and his deal is the first
of a number the club have agreed to provide the foundations for a promotion push next season.
Following soon after Corey Gregory committed his future to the club signing a contact deal until the
end of next season. Corey has come into the club and shown everyone his capability and impact he
can have on the team, and he is seen as crucial to the planned success.
Equally as quickly the Club agreed a contract extension with Laurence Sorhaindo that sees the striker
commit to another season. His development as critical component of the team – as all goal scores
are – made him a clear component of Vill’s future plans.
Director of Football Charlie Tolley commented ‘ The whole Club is delighted with the recent
discussions and agreements and show a clear and early commitment to what we are looking to
achieve next year. These agreements provide Vill with the real springboard to getting others players
to commit early and be part of an exciting future’
