MATCHDAY PROTOCOL – SCARBOROUGH ATHLETIC

We’re looking forward to being able to welcome Scarborough Athletic to the Yorkshire Payments Stadium on Saturday 22nd August 2020; 3pm KO. Brighouse would like all supporters attending the game to adhere to the following information:

  • The gates for supporters will open at 2pm. We ask that all supporters stand 2 metres apart when queuing up at the turnstile unless you are in your bubble or with your family.
  • We ask all supporters who are paying on the day to try pay with contactless however cash will be taken and handled safely.
  • On arrival to the ground, we ask all supporters to sanitise their hands so that we are looking after everyone and keeping everyone safe. We also would like to ask supporters to scan the QR code based on display at the entrance for track and trace purposes. Although most fans will have done an expression of interest form, this is a different document and your details have been destroyed from the interest form so we kindly ask you to do this again for us.
  • No food will be available to sell due to the ongoing refurbishment on the clubhouse. We will be selling alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks in cans and bottles so we ask that when supporters are wanting to access the bar area in the clubhouse, it is a one in, one out policy. The in door is the main door on the front of the clubhouse, the out door is the emergency exit to your left as you enter the “in” door.
  • No programmes or teamsheets will be available for supporters. There will be a teamsheet on display on the clubhouse wall but we ask supporters leave the sheet there and don’t take this away with them.
  • The only toilets available will be the outside block toilets inbetween the hospitality building and clubhouse. We once again would like to stress that this is a one in one out policy and a socially distanced queue must form when queuing for the toilets.
  • In the Nigel Wilson stand, there will be limited seats available to sit down on. Please ensure you only sit in seats available. There will be seats reserved for our media team so please ensure these seats aren’t sat in either.
  • If you have any COVID-19 queries, questions or feedback for the club, please speak to Ray McLaughlin or Andy Eccles who are our COVID-19 officers.
  • We will have commitee members in place ensuring that everyone is adhering to the guidelines so please respect them if they ask you to do something.

We are all looking forward to the return of fans to The Yorkshire Payments Stadium and we want everyone to enjoy their day out in Brighouse but let’s please remember what is going on in the world and adhere to the guidelines set by the club, the COVID-19 officers and the commitee team.

See you later on! #OneTownOneTeam
